This would have been a better title......

the first time I heard the title for the 4th Indy movie - and had to repeat it to interested friends - well, I couldn´t. That was about 6 months ago. And I thought - ok, I´m stupid. I can´t for the life of me remember this bloody title. Indiana Jones and the crystal skull thing whatever.

Now I find my self doubts completely and utterly justified and myself exonerated. (is that the right expression? ) Because - after listen to Mark Kermode´s review, apparently I was not and am not the only one who thinks the title is just too complicated. No flow off the tongue for this one.

This would have been a much better title. And if its based on Frank Darabont´s script - then most likely also the better story. Now I haven´t seen this Indy yet - much to my dismay because I wanted to be the first in my neighborhood. Not succeeding in being the first, I at least wanted to be unblemished by any word-of-mouth or sucky reviews (which due to super human expectations are, like, mandatory) And well, that resolution had the same fate as my new years resolution. The apple a day one (I purposely kept it simple and easy to remember) turned into about one a month. Um, where was I? oh yeah, no listening to any reviews. Well, impossible. I have heard reviews. I am still going to see it. But am no more innocent of possible plot pitfalls nor potential uncharismatic portrayals. OH well.

Anyways - maybe nr. 5 will have a better title. And less media attention. Ha. Like the day Paris Hilton wins an oscar.
