On Meet the Press last Sunday, June 19th, R-Senator Mitch McConnell said the following:
"We have the finest health care system in the world" (which means, obviously, he is against Obama's reform efforts) and, during the same interview, a few minutes on, he said "Obama is doing the right thing in Afghanistan"
Now, that worries me. How? Well, the first statement is so ridiculous and just beggars belief while the second statement is completely in line with all (at least to my knowledge) Republicans believe in - war waging.
I do not automatically disagree with everything a Republican has to say, but well, most of the time, they are just plain wrong. And crazy. And in the case of Afghanistan, I believe we should get the hell out of there and wish Obama would re-think the current tactics in that region.
